ARCHIVES COMMITTEE

PURPOSE: The Archives Committee preserves and stores information relating to Pembroke Welsh Corgis.

TASKS:

1. The Archives Committee is responsible for sorting, storing, preserving, and adding to the files of the Archives.

2. These files are to be maintained in such a manner that they are readily available.

3. The Archives Committee maintains a current inventory of the files and does research as needed.

ORACLE:

1. 3-U, 9/12/85, pg. 5: M/S/C that the PWCCA accept the donation of the books and papers that were part of the Kierstead Pedigree Service - 5 rolodex files, Welsh Corgi League handbooks 1956 to 1985, 11 notebooks of Xeroxed copies of the American Stud Books 1934-1983 & Stud Books from 1983 to date, and work papers. It is stipulated that these papers and books become part of the PWCCA Archives, to serve as reference library for the use of Corgi fanciers. This donation is not to be used to establish a business. Anyone using this material for articles or books shall so state where the information was obtained.

2. 3-E, 3/14/86, pg. 6: M/S/C that the PWCCA, as a club, join the Welsh Corgi League as a life member. The membership material will be sent to the Archives.

3. 15-T, 9/15/98, pg. 1: Sally Wynn moved that the keeper of the PWCCA Archives maintains a current inventory. S/C.
