The 2007 Handbook is the 38th edition of the ongoing series of Handbooks of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi In America. The handbooks form a permanent record of outstanding Pembrokes in the United States. Each edition features dogs that have completed their AKC Championships, Obedience, Rally, Tracking, Agility or Herding titles or obtain a CGC award from the AKC. Beginning with the 2006 issue, the Handbook is in full color.
The Handbooks serve to showcase outstanding Pembrokes and include the following features:
• PWCCA National and Affiliate Club Specialty results including photographs
• PWCCA Annual Awards for Conformation; Obedience; Rally; Tracking; Agility;
Herding and Versatility
• Honor Roll Entries open to all AKC titled Pembrokes that consist of
a full page devoted to each individual Pembroke including a color photograph,
a three generation pedigree and details of accomplishments
• Register of Merit and Register of Merit Excellent Pembrokes
• Top Stud Dogs and Brood Bitches
• Annual Top Ten Lists
• The Pembroke in the UK
• The Canadian Year In Review
• Articles of Interest
• Stud Dog listings
• Obituaries of outstanding Pembrokes including photographs.
The Handbook has served as a historical record and important reference for the education and enjoyment of both novice and experienced fanciers since its inception. As an example, the 2006 Handbook featured 263 Honor Roll entries. Please note that the 2006 issue of the HB is sold out and is no longer available except on the secondary market.
Owners of AKC titled Pembrokes are encouraged to submit Honor
Roll entries.You need not be a PWCCA member to honor your titled dog in the
Handbook. Entry Forms are available here in PDF
format or in MS Word. Pembroke fanciers
are encouraged to pre-order their 2007 Handbooks. The 2007 Handbooks will be
mailed to purchasers in mid-July, 2008. Click
